It has been a while since I introduced me here ! I am Laurine, the only human being behind Obso (+ a couple of cats assistants). I was trained as a fashion designer in France (Duperré, Lycée de la Mode) and the Netherlands (Artez). I was obsessed with leather and accessories so right after school I started Obso with the idea of mixing my ethical commitment (I use only upcycled fragments of leather in my jewelry) and dark avant-garde aesthetic. I wanted Obso to be edgy and classy, poetic and dark, and deeply inspired by Nature.
After years of improving my skills in jewelry, having Obso being know for its black large rings, I am currently making my way through leather stage costumes and body ornaments and I love it !
Thank you to all those who witnessed the journey, it is a wild ride and I am still so passionate about my work and glad to have you by my side ! And welcome to the new followers đ

Cela faisait un moment que je ne mâĂ©tais pas prĂ©sentĂ©e ! Je suis Laurine, le seul ĂȘtre humain derriĂšre Obso (ainsi que quelques assistants fĂ©lins). Jâai suivi un parcours dans la mode, diplĂŽmĂ©e comme styliste en France (DuperrĂ©, LycĂ©e de la mode) et passĂ©e par lâArtez aux Pays Bas pour y suivre un cursus spĂ©cialisĂ© cuir et accessoires. Jâai lancĂ© ma marque Ă la sortie de lâĂ©cole avec lâidĂ©e de mĂȘler mon engagement Ă©thique (les bijoux Obso sont toujours fabriquĂ©s Ă partir de cuir upcyclĂ©) et une esthĂ©tique gothique avant-gardiste. Je souhaitais qu'Obso soit alternatif et classe, poĂ©tique et sombre, et profondĂ©ment inspirĂ© par la Nature.
AprÚs des années passées à améliorer ma technique de bijouterie et faire connaßtre Obso pour ses larges bagues noires, je développe à présent une activité de création de costumes de scÚne, en réalisant entre autre des ornements de corps en cuir pour des artistes.
